Attack of the Giants fans angry over Levi statuette: riots in the network

Needless to say, Levi Ackerman is the strongest character on The Attack of the Giants, but also one of the most popular of the manga and anime fandom, especially the female part. Because of this he was often the focus and was used several times for themed merchandising. Apparently there is no shortage of statuettes on him.

Aside from the bronze statue of Levi Ackerman, which was inaugurated in Hita in early 2021, the online and comic book stores are full of reproductions of the Scout Army Captain from The Attack of the Giants. Few are of high quality while there are many of medium level. However, a low level literally wreaked havoc on the net with the Levi Ackerman fans who are resurrected for treating their idol.

A limited-edition Levi figure, the result of a partnership between Attack of the Giants and Docomo, was presented with a prototype in February and encouraged many to purchase it. However, what buyers have been getting lately, as can be seen below, is certainly not a good product as it lacks the physiognomy of the character and really bad processed.

Even taking into account the price of 13,000 yen (around 100 euros) and the obligation to participate in a lottery, those who have already received it went wild online and forced Docomo to apologize via Twitter. However, fans are already organizing a petition, forcing the company to send the statuette originally shown.

However, there was no shortage of parody on the net, especially for them Face of this statuette from Levi, compared to a character from gag manga Biyori.
