Life emerged from the collaboration between the music artist FUZI, the animation studio WIT Studio and the animator Naoki Yoshibe The missing 8, Anime series making its free debut on YouTube with English subtitles.
The original concept of The Missing 8 begins in July 2019 with the music video for the song 0verf1ow by FUZI and Neru. The following year The Missing 8 continued with the clip for the song 0ptim2er. This project culminates today with the debut of the anime series, produced by WIT Studio, responsible for the first three seasons of Attack on Titan, and Naoki Yoshibe, from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
The first two episodes of The Missing 8, with English subtitles, are available for free streaming on the FUZI YouTube channel. A third episode will be released in the next few weeks.
The Missing 8 takes place in a ruined world in which Androids and robots live together. Poppy is an android that looks like a human, while Punkun is an android that doesn’t care about humanity. One night a star falls in front of them, forcing them to roll their eyes.
Yoshibe is named as the director who is responsible for the storyboard and its editing. The script was written in collaboration between Naoki Sato, Fuzi and Yoshibe himself.
