More than a year after the announcement of The Eminence in Shadow, the anime series returns to show itself in a new trailer published by Kadokawa, featuring four main characters, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta and Eta. The anime adaptation of Light novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Tozaipresents viewers with four new protagonists. While staying on the sidelines as if he were a supporting character, Cid dreams of becoming a main character or a final boss. One day he has a brilliant idea. Reborn in a parallel world and armed with a great deal of imagination, Cid recruits companions into his very own organization aimed at destroying an evil cult that doesn’t exist. Unfortunately, these imaginary antagonists actually exist.
The fellow quartet of cid shown in the third teaser trailer for The Eminence in Shadow, consisting of Delta, Epsilon, Zeta and Eta, is voiced by Fairouz Ai, Hisako Kanemoto, Ayaka Asai and Reina Kondo. The anime is being produced at Nexus Animation Studio and directed by Kazuya Nakanishi. The staff also includes Kanichi Kato as the series’ composer and Makoto Iino as the character designer.
