Everyone has a dream that they want to come true, and the same goes for Kanon Shibuya, who is musically talented. Due to her stage fright, however, Kanon fails at the Yuigaoka Women’s Institute’s music program and instead ends up in the general curriculum. Although Kanon makes a conscious choice to quit music altogether, her classmate Tang Keke kindles her own passion for Kanon’s music: a passion for school idols. Although Keke and Kanon attempt to create a group of school idols, their efforts meet strong objections from Ren Hazuki, the headmaster’s daughter.
Even so, the girls quickly visit the headmaster, who allows them to start their school idol club on one condition: they must win first place at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. The resilience of these aspiring idols will be put to the test as they face the challenges that lie ahead. During their journey, the girls make new friends and meet new members who join them to become the dazzling idols that others can only imagine.
