On the official site for the anime adaptation of the Chinese webcomic, Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai!, the production of a fourth season of the project was confirmed. The series will debut on the Chinese platform Tencent Video in the month of August, to later premiere in Japan in the month of October.

Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai!

The first season premiered in China in March 2017, followed by a release in Japan in April of the same year. The second season premiered in Japan in July 2018, followed by a third season that premiered in China in August 2019, and in Japan in October of the same year.

  • Rare (Aggretsuko) is in charge of directing the anime in the studios Imagineer and Fanworks, and is also in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
  • A study of Shanghai is listed as a third animation studio, rather than Planet cartoon who participated in the third season.

Synopsis of Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai!

Shi Miao simply cannot tolerate her lazy, stupid, and unreliable older brother Shi Fen, who is a year older than her and attends the same high school. However, both brothers are quite dependent on each other, due to Shi Miao’s violent tendencies combined with Shi Fen’s attitude that always causes trouble and fights with each other.
