The anime series of The Ancient Magus Bride it could soon become the protagonist of an important announcement. A mysterious countdown has been highlighted on the official Twitter of the work, which will expire in a few days. Any news on Season 2 of the WIT Studio-produced adaptation?

In September 2017, The Ancient Magus Bride, inspired by the anime series, was released Manga Shonen written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki. After several years, the production of WIT Studio could soon be resumed.

The series' Twitter shared a photo of a notepad with the word "confidential" on it and sent it back to a Live streaming scheduled for September 5th on the Twin Engine YouTube account.

The announcement could concern the last of the three OAD The Ancient Magus Bride: West Boy and the Knight of the Blue Storm, which will be released in September 2022, but according to the first hypotheses, at the end of the countdown it will be the one second season of the anime series.

This assumption seems to be confirmed Tweet by Ryota Takeuchi, who is the original voice of Elias Ainsworth in the anime series, in response to the mysterious teaser. The voice actor wrote to his followers: "That's... there's no way. Everyone please, we can't wait".
