On the official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of light novels by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra, Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko ((By the grace of the gods) a new chapter of the short series was published Slime Tachi no Idobata Kaigi ((Conversations between slimes), in which Rimuru Tempest, the protagonist of the franchise, participated Tensei Shitara slime Datta Ken ((This time I was reborn as a slime).
The series of short films has aired on the Twitter account since August 21, and has turned the characters of the main franchise into slime. On the other hand, the main series premiered on October 4th in Japan and was confirmed with a total of 12 episodes Funimation responsible for sales in the west.
Roy started posting the novels on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2015, and it’s still in publication. The editorial Hobby Japan began publishing the paper novels with illustrations by Ririnra in September 2017 and released the ninth volume on August 22nd. Adaptation to manga by the hand of Ranran will be published on the website Manga UP! from the publisher Square enix since November 2017.

Synopsis of Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko
Under the protection of the gods, his relaxed life begins with the slimes! One day the life of a middle-aged Japanese named Ryoma Takebayashi ends spontaneously and disappointingly. Ryoma was never graceful in his life, but after death three gods asked for his cooperation and incarnated him as a boy in a world full of swords and magic.
Ryoma is warmly and divinely received by the gods themselves and decides to live relaxed in the forest for the moment. His greatest passions, diligently hunting and learning magic, will be… training slime?
