On the official page for the animated adaptation of light novels written by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra, Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (By the grace of the gods) the production of a second season has been announced. This second season will play three years after the first ended, when Ryoma and Eliaria promise to reunite. The character designer Kaho deguchi made a souvenir picture.
The series premiered during the fall 2020 season (October-December) and had a total of twelve episodes. On the other hand, the light novels by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra are published by the publisher Hobby japan since September 2017.
Production team
- Takeyuki-yanase (Isekai wa smartphone to Tomo ni) was responsible for directing the first season in the studios Maho movie.
- Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black clover, Jashin-chan dropkick) was responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts for season one.
- Kaho deguchi (Uchi no Ko no Tame Naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai) was responsible for character design and animation direction for the first season.
- Hiroaki tsutsumi (Cast: Songs Connection, Choujigen Game Neptune The Animation, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) was responsible for composing the soundtrack for the first season.
Summary of Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko
Under the protection of the gods, his relaxed life begins with the slimes! One day, the life of a middle-aged Japanese named Ryoma Takebayashi comes to a spontaneous and disappointing end. Ryoma was never graceful in his life, but after his death three gods asked for his cooperation and he was reborn as a boy in a world full of swords and magic. Warmly welcomed by the gods themselves, Ryoma decides to live relaxed in the forest for the time being. He works diligently on the hunt and learning magic, his greatest passion is … training slimes?
