At the end of the broadcast of the twelfth and final episode of the manga adaptation of Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao, 100 men no Inochi no Ue ni Erz wa Tatteiru ((I like 1,000,000 lives) the production of a second season has been confirmed, which will premiere in Japan in July 2021. The announcement also included a promotional image for this production.

The first season premiered on October 2 and had twelve episodes. Yamanaka started publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2016. The publisher published the tenth compilation volume on September 9, followed by the twelfth on December 9 in Japan.

  • Kumiko Habara ((Puri Puri Chi-chan !!, fighting spirits burning soul) was responsible for directing the anime in the studios Maho movie.
  • Takao Yoshioka ((High School DxD, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Konohana Kitan) was responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts.
  • Eri Kojima and Toshihide Masudate ((Isekai wa smartphone to Tomo ni) was responsible for the character design.
  • Satoshi Yano took care of the sound direction while Ken Ito composes the soundtrack.
  • Singer Kanako Takatsuki played the opening song titled "Anti World" while Liyuu, a popular cosplayer from Shanghai, played the final song entitled "Carpe Diem".

Synopsis of 100 men without Inochi without Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru

The ninth grader, Yusuke Yotsuya, is a practical boy with no friends and not a member of a club. But one day he and two classmates are transported to another world where they must work together to survive.
