Taiso Samurai, the original MAPPA spokesperson announced last August, recently appeared in a new trailerwith a view to the next scheduled release October 10th. Not only did the animation studio share the clip visible below, but they also revealed the names of most of the cast members.

The preview shows the inner conflict of the protagonist Shotaro Aragaki, a former member of the Japanese athletics team. The anime will follow the path of the athlete's vengeance, which is now considered uncompetitive by the public (and by its own trainer). The summary shows that "a special encounter will change his fate".

As for the cast, we know the protagonist is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa (Hisoka in Hunter x Hunter, Goemon in Lupine III), friend Leonardo there Kensho Ono (Giovanna Day in JoJo's bizarre adventure: Vento Aureo), rival Tetsuo Minamino Yuuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger in the attack of the giants, Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia), trainer Noriyuki Amakusa from Kenyuu Horiuchi (Pain in Naruto Shippuden) and Rei Aragaki, daughter of the protagonist Rina Honnizumi (Hina in Plunderer).
