It was reported that the second volume Blu-ray / DVD compilation of the second season of the anime adaptation of the light novels Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu A total of 4,656 copies were sold within a week of publication.

This volume went on sale in Japan on November 25th and contains episodes 30 to 32 of the series in general (fifth to eighth parts of this second season). The Blu-ray version costs 8,800 yen (about $ 85) and has 4,174 units sold. The DVD version costs 7,700 yen (about $ 74) and has sold 482 units.

The series, for its part, premiered its first half (thirteen episodes) on July 8, and it is confirmed that it will have a total of 25 episodes, with the second half premiering in January 2021. Tappei Nagatsuki started publishing the light novels on the site in April 2012 Shousetsuka ni Narouand later the publisher Kadokawa began its publication on paper with illustrations by Shinichirou Ootsuka in January 2014.

From one moment to the next, Subaru Natsuki was taken to another world when leaving a store. Confused, he tries to understand the situation, but it only gets worse when he is attacked by bullies. Subaru is miraculously rescued by a silver-haired young woman and profoundly decides to help her return the favor. Unfortunately, they fail and are brutally murdered.
