On the official page for the fourth season of OVAs of the anime adaptation of the light novels by Gakuto mikumo and illustrated by Manyako, Strike the bloodtitled Beat the Blood IVa new promotional image was published for the project.

This fourth season of OVAs will only be released in physical formats. The third Blu-ray / DVD volume is set to be released in Japan on October 9th after being postponed from its original September 30th date. It will contain episodes 5 and 6 of this season.

For their part, Mikumo and Manyako began to publish the light novels through the publishing label Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in 2011 with images of Manyako. The publisher released the final volume in Japan on August 7th. The work was adapted from to Manga TATEwho started serializing the manga in the magazine Monthly comic Dengeki Daioh by Kadokawa Publishing in 2012 and completed in 2017.

Strike the Blood Synopsis

The school's action fantasy story begins with Kojou Akatsuki, a boy who is believed to be "the fourth ancestor," the most powerful vampire in the world who was once believed to exist only in legends and stories. In the Itogamijima region, which specializes in demons, a girl named Yukina Himeragi has the task of guarding the vampire and, if necessary, hunting him down.
