One of the animation industry's biggest surprises in 2021 was Star Wars: Visions. The anthology series, the result of the collaboration between Disney and seven Japanese animation studios, has been appreciated by fans of the universe conceived by Lucas, and according to a recent report it seems that it could return in 2022.

Given the reception and success of the first episodes, this was more than predictable Disney would have decided to invest in the project again and confirmation of the anime's return came from various sources and finally from the report published on Cinelix where it was stated A new installment of episodes will arrive before the end of 2022.

Unfortunately, no details regarding the production have been announced, whether there will be a second season, whether the studios that took part in the first will return to tell the continuation of some of the particularly appreciated stories, or whether other animators and directors will be involved.

However, we can expect official updates between May 26th and 29th, 2022, the days when the yearbook takes place Star Wars celebration, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
