Nevertheless, the material published in the Alta Repubblica has won many readers, and the second phase of the project will begin soon.
During the event Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim, the American publisher has announced important news for the series for the coming months. As you might expect, given the success of the first series, Cavan Scott and Ario Anindito will be working together again to create for Star Wars: The High Republic Phase II. Certainly interesting projects that could consolidate the couple Scott and Anindito as the series’ lead writers, and provide excellent opportunities to learn more about some of the characters only introduced in novels or spin-off films, such as B. Jedha from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Deeply connected to the power Jedha will be the protagonist of the new phase of The High Republicalongside the Jedi Vildar Mac, as you can see on the cover of the first volume below, signed by Anindito himself.
On the other hand, writing is curated by The Blade Karl Soul, former author of the novels Light of the Jedi and Eye of the Storm, and will be joined as designer by Marco Castiello. The Blade will consist of four volumes and will feature Porter Engle, who is now a chef working in a Jedi outpost but was formerly known as Bardot Blade in the first phase of the High Republic.
