Netflix continues to invest more and more resources on the Japanese animation front, and has produced and released a slew of original titles in recent years. The newest of them is spriggansan ambitious production expected to debut in June.

The new anime from David Productions in collaboration with Netflix brings with it a lot of expectations, also thanks to the animation studio responsible for the project, or just behind it Jojo’s bizarre adventure. Spriggan’s last promotional image had confirmed the arrival of the television series next June 18th worldwide.

This is a really ambitious project that has been in production in Jojo’s studio for several months. For those who have never heard of this series, the plot follows: “After the end of the Cold War, some powerful groups began hunting for valuable artifacts – machines of an advanced civilization. Yu Ominae is an elite agent who is part of the ARCAM organization, a group whose purpose is to protect these artifacts.“

So we only have to wait a few weeks to take a look at this new Netflix project.
