2020 is now nearing its end and like every year the subscription music streaming service is coming to an end Spotify did not miss the opportunity to present its “Summary of the Year”, aka Spotify wrapped up. Among the various charts, the top 10 most-heard Japanese songs in the west were also shown, and apparently Eight of them are anime acronyms.

First, we find Gurenge from LiSA, the opening theme of the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, while the rest of the positions are mostly occupied by some of the most famous openings in recent years. See the full ranking below.

Gurenge’s win is no surprise as it is currently boasting nearly 120 million reproductions on the website of the streaming portal. LiSA also ranks eighth with Crossing Field from the first season of SAO, while the rest of the table includes two Naruto songs and the legendary opening theme of Tokyo Ghoul.
