Marvel has also reserved big surprises for this edition of San Diego Comic Con. In addition to the announcement of the fifth and sixth phases of the MCU, important news have also arrived for one of the most anticipated crossovers in the comics field: Dark Web, which will debut next November and where Spiderman will play a fundamental role.

In April 2022, the idea house had communicated an ambitious crossover project aimed at radically changing the character of Spider-Man, and finally during the panel Marvel Comics: The Next Big Thing the trade show in San Diego, more information and the first artwork of the series were released. Written by Zeb Wells, work begins in November 2022 with the first issues of the prelude, which will include some of the publisher’s key publications.

Amazing Spider-Man #14 will introduce the story, and the official synopsis of the volume was also revealed during the event: “We haven’t seen each other since then gap of Amazing Spider-Man #894 and the FCBD edition, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t busy. Join us in this special edition dedicated to the most dangerous of Spidey’s recent enemies, as well as the goblin queen and a brand new villain.

In the promotional graphics shown below Spider-Man wears a new costume, whose design was developed by Green Goblin. The suit in question and the glider that goes with it will make their debut in The Amazin Spider-Man #7 and will also appear in the Dan Slott and Mark Bagley series.
