Shingo Natsume and Studio Madhouse work together again four years later ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. and six years after the amazing first season of One-Punch Man, this time to create a new original anime called it Sonny Boy. The series will debut in the course of 2021, and the first official trailer was shown a few hours ago.
Sonny Boy is a series written, directed, and narrated by Shingo Natsume The story of 36 students who were transported to another dimension. The protagonist Nagara (centered in the picture below) will team up with the mysterious new student Nozomi (right) and his classmate Mizuho (left) to survive the dangers that will loom before him. In order to get out of this situation and understand what is happening, the young must employ new superpowers that have awakened within them after arriving in the new dimension.
Not many details about the work have been revealed at the moment, but Madhouse has confirmed it Norifumi Kugai (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) will return to partner with the studio that does character design based on the artist and manga writer's sketches Hisashi Euguchi (Perfect blue, Roujin Z, Eiji). Mari Fujino (Dororo) directs the artistic part while Shoji Hata takes care of the sound. The rock band Went to Nag BOYZ composed the soundtrack "Shounen Shoujo" (boys and girls).
