Social Pokémon: A Japanese bar enforces spacing with stuffed animals!

In Japan as in Italy many businesses have started to reopen, including bars and restaurants. Normality, however, is still distant and, in times when the social distance it has now become a mantra for large and small entrepreneurs, the managers of the Pokémon Café in Osaka they decided to respect the rules in the most fun way possible.

Explaining the importance of distancing to younger customers is certainly not easy, and in the same way some adults are often reluctant to respect the rules. As you can see at the bottom, however, the bar has decided to convince the clientele causing some tables to occupy the Pokémon themselves, thus ensuring compliance with the approximately two meters distance required by the WHO. Some people even took advantage of it to spend time together with their favorite starter.

In Japan, cafes dedicated to anime and manga are more common than you can imagine, and tourism is only one of the reasons why these places are so popular. Placing stuffed animals may seem like a simple trick, but the result of the initiative - considering also the number of Japanese newspapers that reported the news - speaks for itself.
