On the official page for the animated adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by the creative group Soumatou, Shadow house, the cover art and details of the second compilation of the project's Blu-ray / DVD package have been revealed. The title illustration shows the characters Shaun and John.

This second compilation package will be released in Japan on July 28th and contains the third and fourth episodes of this adaptation. The Blu-ray version will cost 7,700 yen (about $ 74) and the DVD version will cost 6,600 yen (about $ 63). The package includes benefits such as a short sleeve and an illustration booklet.

The series has aired in Japan since April 10, 2021 and is confirmed with a total of thirteen episodes while the platform Funimation takes care of the spread in the west. On the other hand, Soumatou publishes the manga in the magazine man Weekly young jump from the publisher Shueisha since September 2018.

  • Kazuki ohashi (Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna Evolution, Fairy Tail: Dragon Scream, Tsukimonogatari ) is responsible for directing the anime in the studios Kleewerk.

  • Kenichiro Suehiro (Hataraku Saibou, Firepower, Golden Kamuy) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Summary of shadow house

Shaded and faceless nobles live in a huge mansion and are cared for by living dolls who spend much of their time cleaning up the soot that their mysterious masters incessantly emit. Follow the story of Emilyko, a lively young and happy doll as she learns her duties as an assistant to Kate Shadow-sama. What dangerous and dark secrets will she and Kate find as they increasingly interfere with the inner workings of the shadowy society?
