Synopsis of Senpai Is An Otokonoko
The story centers on Makoto Hanaoka, a second-year student whose appearance naturally draws attention. When first-year student Saki Aoi falls in love at first sight, she boldly confesses her feelings. The narrative takes an unexpected turn when Makoto reveals his identity as a cross-dressing male student. Rather than deterring Saki, this revelation only intensifies her interest, though Makoto maintains his distance. The story explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the courage to be oneself, set against the backdrop of high school life.
Broadcasting and Distribution
The television series, which premiered on July 4, 2024, found its home in Fuji TV’s prestigious Noitamina programming block, with Crunchyroll securing streaming rights for international audiences.
