Written and illustrated by the manga on the official Twitter account Gege akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen, the cover of the franchise’s seventeenth compiled volume has been unveiled. The editorial office Shueisha stated that this band will go on sale in Japan on October 4th.

On the other hand, Gege akutami began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2018. The publisher published its fifteenth compiled volume on March 4, followed by the sixteenth on June 4 in Japan. The work inspired an anime adaptation that was released during the Fall 2021 season (October-December) and ended with a total of 24 episodes produced by the studios. The production of an animated film with the title Jujutsu Kaisen 0, has been confirmed and will premiere in cinemas in Japan on December 24th. So far, no promotional video has been released other than a promotional teaser that was released late last July.

Jujutsu Kaisen Summary

The high school student Yuuji Itadori, who idly pursues paranormal activities with the Occult Club, spends his days in the club room or hospital visiting his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the whimsical when he unknowingly comes across a cursed object. Yuuji triggers a chain of supernatural events and is suddenly thrust into the world of curses, terrible beings formed from human malice and negativity, after swallowing the object that turns out to be the finger of the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses “revealed”.

Yuuji experiences firsthand the threat these curses pose to society as he discovers his own newly acquired powers. Presented at the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College of Magic, he begins to walk a path he cannot return from: the path of a jujutsu wizard.
