On the official page for the anime adaptation of the manga Sayonara Watashi no cramer ((Goodbye, my dear Cramer) a new trailer and a new promotional image were released, drawn by Naoshi Arakawa, the author of the manga, for the franchise’s film project, Sayonara Watashi no Cramer Film: First Touch. In addition, it was announced that the film will be released in Japanese theaters on June 11th. The main theme “Sora wa Dareka no Mono Janai” can be heard in the video Aika Kobayashi.

The film was originally due to be released on April 1st, but has been postponed until June due to various logistical issues with the production of the film.

For his part, Arakawa began to publish the manga in the magazine Monthly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha completed in May 2016 and December 2020.

Arakawa is also the author of the manga Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, which was published between April 2011 and February 2015 in the Monthly Shonen Magazine of the Kodansha Publishing House, with a total of eleven compilation volumes published. The piece inspired a 22-part anime adaptation produced by the studios. A-1 pictures, Headed by Kyouhei Ishiguro and scripts written by Takao Yoshioka, published October 2014.

Synopsis of Sayonara Watashi no Cramer

It all starts when, during a girls’ soccer game between high school girls, the short-haired girl Suo Sumire shows her incomparable talent in sports, but during a counterattack a girl with pigtails named Soshizaki Midori blocks her beautiful dribbling towards the goal line, the game just before the end of the Stop game. Without attending a powerful school, these two rivals, Sumire and Midori, will enter the same high school …
