The Japanese production company Frontier works announced this Sunday that the famous manga series was written and illustrated by Kazuya Minekura, Saiyuukiwill include a new anime series. This version will adapt one of the well-known manga arcs Even a worm and it’s titled Reload Saiyuuki Zeroin. Production will be responsible for the studios Liden Films.
The first image of the anime was also revealed, illustrated by Kazuya Minekura.

About Saiyuuki
The original manga Saiyuuki Inspired an OVA in 1999 and a TV anime adaptation in 2000, as well as a sequel in film and OVA form.
In 2009, Kazuya Minekura began releasing a new sequel to the manga called Saiyuuki Reload Blast in the Comic Zero Sum magazine of Ichijinsha Verlag.
Saiyuuki Reload Blast it also inspired two anime adaptations and a prequel in OVA form. More recently, the 2011 Saiyuki Gaiden manga prequel inspired an OVA adaptation, and a film was released for this project in 2017.
