On the official site for the animated adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers, the second promo video and a new image for the project have been revealed. The video shows a fragment of the opening song entitled “Cry Baby” performed by Official HiGE DANdism.
The announcement also revealed new cast members, including the senior members of the Tokyo Manji Gang:
Masaaki Mizunaka as Kaisuke Baji.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Takashi Mitsuya.
Subaru Kimura as Haruki Hayashida.
Yukihiro nozuyama like Ryouhei Hayashi.
Kengo Kawanishi as Nahoya Kawata.

The premiere of the series is planned for April 10th in Japan on various television channels. For his part, Wakui began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha March 2017. The plant recently had more than seven million copies in circulation.

Tokyo Revengers Synopsis
While watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his high school girlfriend Hinata Tachibana has died. The only girl who ever noticed him was killed by a group of criminals known as Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi lives in an old apartment with thin walls and at work his boss, who is six years his junior, treats him like trash. To top it off, he’s a complete virgin …
