It was Jump Festa 2022 when animation studio Liden Films announced the return of Kenshin Samurai Wanderer with a new animated transposition, a reboot aimed at proposing with greater accuracy the universe created by Nobuhiro Watsuki. Exactly one year later, for Jump Festa 2023, the studio returns with new updates.

Back to the 90s Story of Rurouni Kenshin, who transforms from a violent and ruthless warrior into a true hero, has gained incredible popularity, also thanks to the animated implementation by the Gallop studio, although this was far from the original material present in the manga. The decision of revitalize Watsuki's work with a new anime surprised many of the fans and in anticipation of the news announced during Jump Festa 2023, Liden Films has revealed two new character designs.

In the post that you can find at the bottom, shared from the official site of the series, you can see the designs reworked and adapted in a modern style by Yahiko Myojin and Sanosuke Sagara, characters who will be Kenshin's fundamental allies throughout the story.
