Started in 2013, the series of Rick and MortyConceived by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it has become one of Adult Swim's flagship works over the course of its now 7-year release, and it seems that the popularity attained by the misadventures of Morty and his brilliant grandfather, Rick, is soon to come will also expand in the anime market.

Confirmation came from Adult Swim themselves, who announced that they had both ordered Rick and Morty: The Anime, That Ninja Kamui, a futuristic series directed by director Sunghoo Park, best known for his significant contribution to MAPPA studio Jujutsu Kaisen. The Rick and Morty series is thereby produced by the subsidiary of TMS Entertainmente or Telecom Animation Film management was entrusted to Takashi Sanothat you may remember for Tower of God.

It has also been made official that this spin-off series is set in the Rick and Morty universe will consist of 10 episodes, completely original but with themes, events and references to the original series.
