For over two decades, ONE PIECE has been among the best manga and its weekly chapters are among the most anticipated not only in the mother country but also in the rest of the world. There are weeks when Eiichiro Oda votes for rest and small content, other times against drops repeated bombs shake the whole story.
Such is the case of ONE PIECE 1044, a chapter released on MangaPlus that immediately became a worldwide trend. Luffy’s transformation couldn’t go unnoticed, as could that Revelation on the Devil Fruit Gom Gom the five stars of wisdom. The world governing group, from the top of its building to Mary Geoise, shared a glimpse into the past that is changing the world we know.
But now it’s time for the fight. Luffy has transformed and must first defeat Kaido to bring joy, freedom and laughter to all of Wano. ONE PIECE 1045 will be a very important chapter, definitely action-packed, with the protagonist experimenting with all of his new powers, while Kaido will likely start to cave in. With all of Wano’s subplots virtually complete, all that remains is to enjoy the final battle between Luffy in Gear Fifth and Kaido in hybrid form.
