It was reported that the fourth volume Blu-ray / DVD compilation of the second season of the animated adaptation of the light novels Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu ((Re: ZERO – start life in another world) have sold 4,790 copies within a week of their release in Japan.

This volume was released in Japan on January 27th and contains episodes thirty-six to thirty-eight in total of the franchise (i.e., from the eleventh to the thirteenth of the second season). The Blu-ray version costs 7,700 yen (about $ 74) and has 4,279 units sold. The DVD version costs 6,600 yen (about $ 64) and 511 units sold.

The series, for its part, premiered its first half (thirteen episodes) on July 8, and it is confirmed that it will have a total of 25 episodes, with the second half currently airing. Tappei Nagatsuki started publishing the light novels on the site in April 2012 Shousetsuka ni Narouand later the publisher Kadokawa began its publication on paper with illustrations by Shinichirou Ootsuka in January 2014.

Synopsis for Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Under the indomitable rhythm he is forced to dive into the spirals of the past and the future. At the same time, various mysterious threats turned their attention to the sanctuary, heralding a terrible fate for the unfortunate people trapped inside.
