A press release informed about the production of a new original anime entitled Turkey!produced by the studio brand Tatsunoko production, BAKKEN RECORD In collaboration with pony canyon. The site also revealed the first promotional image and the production team.

- Naomi Hirota (Seiho Boys' High School!, A Devil and Her Love Song) is responsible for writing and supervising the screenplays.
- Airi Takekawa (mou, ippon) is responsible for character design and animation direction.
- pony canyon is responsible for the music production, while the studios BAKKEN RECORD (Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e, Mou, Ippon!, Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood) are responsible for animation production.
Summary of Turkey!
Set in the city of Chikuma, Nagano Prefecture, the anime features the image of five high school girls on a train station platform with the following slogan: "Our story that can't be told just for fun." At Comic Market 101, held on December 30th and 31st at the Tokyo Big Sight venue, there will be a booth "Chikuma City x Original Anime Turkey from Nagano Prefecture". The booth staff will be giving away a limited number of copies of the character designs, which are scented with apricot scent (a local specialty of Chikuma City).
