Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu Anime Reveals New Visual

Written on the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Peel, Otome game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu (Trapped in a dating sim: the world of otome games is tough on mobs) the second promotional image of the project was unveiled. The visual confirms six new voice actors, including:

• Ayane Sakura as Marie Fou Lafan (blonde hair).
• Kenichi Suzumura as Julius Rapha Holfort (dark blue hair).
• Kousuke Toriumi as Jilk Fia Marmoria (Green Hair).
• Shinnosuke Tachibana as Brad Fou Field (purple hair).
• Koji Yusa as Chris Fia Arclight (light blue hair).
• Nobuyuki Hiyama as Greg Fou Seberg (red hair).

The series maintains its scheduled premiere date of next April in Japan, while no platform has yet announced its distribution in the West. For his part, Mishima began publishing the light novels with artwork by Monda through the publisher in 2017 micro magazine, with nine volumes published in Japan to date. A manga adaptation of Jun Shiosato will be published on the website dr dr sharp# from the publisher Fujimishobo since 2018.

Leon, a former Japanese office worker, has been reincarnated into the world of an otome game, and he despairs upon realizing that women rule over men in this world. It was as if men were just stepping stones to the success of the women of this world, the only exceptions being the romantic interests of the game’s protagonist, a group of handsome men led by the crown prince of a kingdom. In these bizarre circumstances, Leon has only one weapon: his knowledge from his past life, in which his cheeky sister forced him to quit this very game. Leon, who actually only wanted to lead a life in the country, begins to use this knowledge to provoke a violent revolution against the chosen women and men. The curtain rises on an exciting story.
