A leak in the sixth issue of the magazine in 2021 Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha unveiled the production of an animated adaptation of the manga, written and illustrated by Shinobu ohtaka, Orient. A confirmation is expected shortly.

Ohtaka started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in May 2018. The publisher published the tenth compilation volume on August 17, followed by the eleventh on November 17 in Japan.

Shinobu Ohtaka is perhaps best known for being the manga writer Point, Mage: Sinbad no Bouken and Sumomomo Momomo: Chijou Saikyou no Yomewho inspired all of the anime adaptations. She is also currently working as a character designer for the original anime by Studio VOLN and the director Goro Taniguchi, Back arrow.

Orient synopsis

Musashi is a teenager who lives under the rule of demons. As children, he and his best friend made a promise: to become the most powerful warriors in the world and overthrow the demons of power. But fate has not turned in his favor, and five years later, Musashi is on the verge of becoming a miner. Can Musashi be content to lead a normal life?
