Funimation confirms that Fairy Tail will be added to the catalog in Mexico and Brazil

The platform Funimation confirmed by its official media that it will add the animated franchise based on the manga written and illustrated Hiro Mashima, fairy tale. The statement did not specify which series to add and whether to translate them into Latin.

Mashima published the original manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha between August 2006 and July 2017. The publisher has compiled the work in a total of 63 volumes.

The work inspired various adaptations of the anime, which added a total of 328 episodes, of which 175 were produced by the studios Satelight and 153 produced by studios bridge in collaboration with studios CloverWorks in episodes 278 to 328. The anime aired in October 2009 and ended in September 2019.

Synopsis of fairy tail

In the mystical kingdom of the earthland, magic exists in the daily life of its inhabitants, from transportation to public services to everything in between. Despite all its advantages, magic can also be used for great evil. To prevent the dark forces from disturbing the natural order of things, there is a system of magical guilds in the Kingdom of Fiore.
