On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8, Yahari Ore no Seishun love comedy wa Machigatteiru (also known as Oregairu) a special illustration to commemorate the broadcast of the second episode of the series was published.
The illustration shows Iroha and Haruno and was made by the character designer Yuuichi Tanaka. The series, for its part, premiered in Japan on July 9 and will have a total of twelve episodes, which will also be released on six Blu-ray / DVD releases. Watari began to publish the light novels Oregairu with illustrations by Ponkan8 in 2011. The series ended with the fourteenth volume, published in November 2019.
The official title of this third season is Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru: Kan. Kei Oikawa is responsible for directing the anime in the studios feelingwhile Keiichirou Ohchi is responsible for writing and monitoring the scripts. Yuichi Tanaka is responsible for the character design.
Synopsis of Oregairu
The romantic comedy is about a rather anti-social student named Hachiman Hikigaya who has a distorted view of life, other than that he has no friends, let alone a girlfriend. When he sees his classmates cheerfully talking about their teenage lives, he murmurs that they’re all a bunch of liars. When asked about his dreams for the future, his answer is “don’t work”. However, one teacher manages to enroll Hachiman in the volunteer club, where it turns out that even the prettiest girl at the institute, Yukino Yukinoshita, is enrolled.
