Among the pirates of ONE PIECE there are some who have been directly selected by the world government to become part of an organization in which they work in the service of the governors of the world and therefore receive a special status. The Seven Fleet has strong pirates for this reason.
Now, however, thanks to the intervention of the Kings of Levely and the development of the pacifist weapon that can now replace the organization of the seven pirates, the group has been disbanded. Now the Shichibukai they got smaller and smaller, but they still remain terrifying and far superior to the average ONE PIECE human. After Wano, we’ll see the sizes of the Fleet of Seven, but possibly some changes to some of them as well.
In fact, after the events of Levely, Blackbeard decided to move and maybe he decided to recruit one of the pirates belonging to that group that is now being discovered. Who will be the chosen one? Totally excluded Boa Hancock, loyal to Luffy, who could at most be captured by Blackbeard. For obvious reasons, Bartholomew Kuma is also excluded, while Crocodile and Gecko Moria are definitely not on the current radar. Therefore, the draw is limited to Buggy the Clown, Drakul Mihawk and Edward Weevil for the time being.
Buggy is hardly an option, although it can still play a role in the story. It seems almost impossible for Drakul Mihawk to join Blackbeard’s crew too, given his strength and the way he does things. In fact, it would be very out of place compared to the rest of the crew and commanders and it would only make sense if we then considered him to be Zoro’s true opponent during the war with this crew.
Most likely then is Edward Weevil which at this point can finally have its purpose in the plot.
