In 2022 a new era begins for the pirates of Eiichiro Oda. Mugiwara will actually debut in a new feature film, ONE PIECE: Redwhich will apparently focus on the character of Shanks the Red and his crew. Waiting for news of the plot, here is the Straw Hat Pirates character design.

During the event Jump Festival 2022 by Shueisha was shown to the public for the first time ever, Mugiwara character design for the new film. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami and all the others will present a very different aspect from the usual in this anime feature film slated for release in the summer of 2022. The crew members are actually going to take on a steampunk look that has some aroused Perplexity in fandom. Usop in particular is at the center of public criticism. The sniper pirate seems to be inspired by the American rock band KISS for his outfit.

In addition to Teaser in which the Mugiwara character design is shown, unfortunately nothing else was shared. At the end of each panel, however, theAuthor Eiichiro Oda stated that fans should be wary of Luffy and that many secrets about Shanks will be solved. Therefore, Rosso is now the star of this film.

To conduct ONE PIECE: Red will be Goro Taniguchiwhile the script is entrusted to Tsutomu Kuroiwa, two familiar faces of the saga. Oda, on the other hand, will oversee the writing of the film, which is due to be released on 6th of August.
