The Stage 2021 MAP continues to offer great surprises, and after the first trailer for Chainsaw Man and the key visual of Attack of the Giants 4: Part 2, a new film is coming in the near future, produced by Studio MAPPA and written by the talented Mari Okada (Maquia, Ano Hana).
At the top of the article you can watch the first trailer of the anime film Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo (lit. Alice and Therese in the factory of illusion), which the author described as “the story of two boys in love in a fantasy world” who, in order to stay together, have to fight fate with love as a weapon. Despite the somewhat banal premise the trailer looks incredibly inspired, and the animations are top notch.
In addition to showing the clip in question, MAP announced that the author Mari Okada will lead the work, and character design and artistic direction will each be entrusted Yuriko Ishii (Another, Maquia) e Kazuki Higashiji (Angel Beats !, Charlotte). Finally, the music is curated by the maestro Masaru Yokoyama (Your blue skies, Horimiya). At the moment the release date is not known, but the studio representatives have said that it is one of the most important future projects of all time.
