The Wano saga also reached its climax in the ONE PIECE anime as there were only four battles left to decide. Viewers can’t wait to see the final moments of the clashes between Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Law and Kidd on one side and Kaido, Big Mom, Queen and King on the other being animated. As pointed out by user @dasienn, probably to contain the production costs of each episode, TOEI Animation recycles previously used animations for the ONE PIECE anime. From the clips extracted by the fan, which you can find at the end of the article, it appears that Zoro’s animations in ONE PIECE 1058 are the ones used for the fight with Kaido in ONE PIECE 1018, with the exception of the colors of the much-criticized auras that surround the characters.

TOEI Animation’s “cleverness” is not entirely to be blamed as the ONE PIECE anime has been running non-stop for years now aired weekly and with a quality that matches or even exceeds that of some seasonal anime. Furthermore, it must be said that the vast majority of viewers would never have noticed this without the direct comparison and that these “recycled” they do not interfere in any way with the joy of work.
