ONE PIECE He really did his best with Yamato’s best scene in the anime in the last episode of the series. The war on Onigashima continues to flare up with each new episode and the various battles across the island come to life. One of the main actors that fans wanted to keep an eye on was him Kaido’s son Yamato.
Although introduced fairly late in the Wano Country arc and not involved until the beginning of the actual fighting on Onigashima, Yamato quickly became a fan favorite. He will surely still have time to be loved as it seems that the ONE PIECE anime can last another 8 years.
He first introduced himself to Luffy as the “reincarnation” of Oden Kozuki, intended to continue his dream of opening the borders of Wano. He then quickly allied with the Straw Hats and the rebellious samurai forces
The last time we saw Yamato in action, He hunted Momonosuke and Shinobu to protect the young heir, Kozuki and the last episode of the series showed what Yamato is ready to do to protect Momonosuke a flashy last minute save against one of the subordinates of one of the Tobi Roppo members. In Episode 1006 of the series, Yamato continues to pursue Momonosuke and Shinobu, and the two managed to throw Yamato off track using some ninja tricks. But although they managed to escape what they perceived as a threat, Shinobu was quickly overwhelmed by all of the other forces pursuing her.
To make matters worse, King (who showed his face in ONE PIECE 1036) had officially hired the Tobi Roppos to track them down and kill Oden Kozuki’s heir in order to turn the tide of the rebellion. When Tobi Roppos Sasaki and his troops block Shinobu, Yamato suddenly arrives and saves the two with a well-placed Thunder Bagua.
It’s a simple sub that defeats in the scene in question but also serves that moment Show Momonosuke how determined Yamato is to protect him. He even seems to have doubts that Kaido’s son could really be his father. It’s a moment that is sure to change the course of their relationship even further.
