One of the most important moments in the final narrative arcs of ONE PIECE It was when Jinbe declared that he really wanted to join the Straw Hat crew, and Master Eiichiro Oda seems to have finally welcomed the 10th member of Mugiwara with a gorgeous color page.
As you can see in the image at the bottom of the page that @shonenjump shared on Twitter to open Chapter 987 published a few days ago, we discovered a great illustration of Luffy and all of his companions, including the fisherman, former member of the Seven Fleet, Jinbe.
We learned that during the Whole Cake Island saga the curse of the sun, which Jinbe was a part of, joined Big Mom’s fleet for protection after Whitebeard’s death. After Charlotte Lin Lin manages to capture Luffy and Nami, Jinbe decides to free them and leave the Empress’s fleet for good.
With the arrival in the land of Wa and Onigashima Jinbe has effectively become a member of the Mugiwaraand we cannot wait to see him in action alongside his companions, and most of all it will be interesting to see the evolution of the relationships he will have with each of them.
Keep in mind that Zoro has become a must-have collector’s statue, and we’ll leave you to the predictions in Chapter 988 of ONE PIECE.
