It can’t help but regret when a manga like Act-Age is canceled. But for the manga Weekly Shonen Jump, there was little to do after the grave allegations against Tatsuya Matsuki, the screenwriter who was arrested a few days ago for molesting some middle school students.

Weekly Shonen Jump had to tell fans this in a Flash release Act-Age was canceled without the possibility of an appeal. There have been reactions from all over the world and every publisher that bought the rights had to take the necessary countermeasures as put in place by J-POP.

Those who are angry about the situation are also the group of people reading Act-Age which is a very large group as the manga became more popular. At the top are Japanese fans, including some mangaka, but there has also been several controversies around the world. Almost all written comments have two faces: one of the total allegations against Tatsuya Matsuki, the screenwriter who was guilty of bad gestures, e one of the full support of designer Shiro Usazaki.

As you can see below, many thought Act-Age was an excellent manga and should have been a long-time supporter of Weekly Shonen Jump, but now there isn’t much hope for work. With the now valid cancellation we are rediscovering the history of the Act Age and its collapse.
