The characters of ONE PIECE are many and many of these overlap with the thick tradition created by Eiichiro Oda. This pirate-dominated world, made almost entirely of water, indeed has a long, and in large part very mysterious, history, and the resolution of these puzzles is one of the final goals of history.

During the Battle of ONE PIECE 1018, in which Jinbe and Who's Who faced each other, the latter revealed the existence of a certain Nika, the god of the sun, an almost mythological figure who seems to have many implications for the future of ONE PIECE. There have been many theories about the character already - inevitably, the manga fandom has jumped the ball trying to fit him into the story - from its connection to the Century of the Void to other events.

However, there is someone who has decided to think about something else and notices a small detail even in chapter 143 of ONE PIECE. contain, goes back many years. The chapter, published in 2000, takes us back to Drum, where we see the library of Dr. See Hillk. Among the many books that can be seen scattered about is the name "KOKAKU.MONGEO.NIKA" on his rib. Judging from the other books, Kokaku could be the title of the book, while Mongeo Nika is the author's name. Always this Mongeo would have written another of the books available there, the antibiotic, probably one of the foundations for becoming a doctor in the world of ONE PIECE.

We have already seen some meanings of Nika's name, while this addition could give a new reading. In view of the fact that Nika could be descended from Japonica, i.e. the land of the rising sun, which underlines her relationship to the sun once again, Mongeo could be formed from the words Monos, i.e. one, and Geo, i.e. earth. From here, even Mongeo would be a name with many meanings as it could refer to a single country, a Pangea, or figuratively, that traces the union that existed at a particular phase in history.

At the end of ONE PIECE we will know more, but we will have to wait many years for that.
