ONE PIECE is one of the most viewed anime in the world. The work of Eiichiro Oda is so gigantic that it also allows the creation of special films that, even if they are not canonical, still allow us to delve deeper into the world and the characters that inhabit it. With the release of ONE PIECE: RED in Japan, new things have been discovered.
At the heart of the film, as both the name and the posters immediately recognise, is Shanks’ crew, one of ONE PIECE’s most mysterious and interesting to date. In particular, the captain is a figure well-liked by the public and so on Eiichiro Oda decided to reveal something more. The author did this through a special booklet given to those who had seen ONE PIECE: RED in Japan.
- Helmeppo joined SWORD along with Koby;
- Blueno joined CP0 Aegis;
- CP0 Aegis and SWORD are “rivals”;
- Then there’s an interesting comment on Uta’s design with the crown that serves to make her look like the strongest person in the world;
- Uta’s hair falls when she’s sad, it stands up when she’s happy;
- Powerful enough to be dubbed the “Observation Killer”, the Conqueror King of Shanks’ Haki blocks the ability to use the Observation Haki to see into the future.
- Benn Beckman is very strong and agile, injecting his own haki into bullets to allow them to penetrate the enemy’s flesh. Even Rogia, like Kizaru, can’t do anything against his weapon. Though always at one with his head on his shoulders, he’s also a playboy who adores women;
- Yasopp’s sniping skills are top-notch, he’s also known as the “Purser” and is capable of hitting 100 targets with 100 shots. He knows how to use Observation Haki;
- Lucky Lou is the team chef and fights using his body like a bowling ball along with the haki. Despite his strong build, he has very strong legs that make him agile. He is always very happy, but he does not succeed with women;
- Monster is one of the crew’s officers and is just as strong in combat as the others, even though he’s not human. Highly intelligent and able to understand human emotions, she puts her life on the line for others;
- Bonk Punch is one of the oldest members of the Shanks group. In battle he fights with monsters and, always together, they also form the duo of Aciurma musicians;
- Limejuice fights with electrified weapons. He also knows how to attack from the sky with Geppo.
- Hongo is the Shanks crew doctor, is an excellent surgeon with excellent knowledge of medicine and technology. He is very good at dismantling machines;
- Building Snake is the crew’s navigator and fights using a special two-sword style called “Two Sword Juggling Style” that performs acrobatic moves. Watch Uta and Luffy’s growth from afar;
- Howling Gab fights by firing laser roars from his own mouth. Despite his strength and looks, he is very gentle. Hates insects and spirits;
- Oda confirms that the acronym SSG stands for “Special Scientific Group”.
there Shanks’ crew was then explained with all of their skills, and there is also information about other groups. Will we also see her in the main manga of ONE PIECE?
