A new volume of has been released in Japan ONE PIECE. At the beginning of March it was the turn of volume 105, which collects several important chapters of the saga, with the last phases of Wano, but also the firsts of the last war, where Monkey D. Luffy finally reach Laugh Tale and become after Gol D Roger the new Pirate King.

As usual, Eiichiro Oda didn’t just include the manga’s chapters. In the ONE PIECE Tankobon 105 there are various SBS with which the author is happy to reveal further details about his world and the characters. Sometimes it’s about little things and jokes, sometimes about things of a certain importance. Let’s watch all SBS from ONE PIECE Volume 105.

  • We start with the origins of Zoro associated with the Shimotsuki clan;
  • Then there’s a clue to the origins of little O-Tama, who is instead linked to a decayed clan of Wano;
  • We then talk about Sanji’s eyebrows and how he awakened his latent power;
  • There is a discussion about SMILE and Chopper that makes you wonder if the Mugiwara’s reindeer can cure the side effects of the artificial devil fruits made by Caesar Clown.
  • In the world of ONE PIECE, too, there is talk of mangas that actually exist;
  • There is a Section dedicated to Tensei, a.k.a. Kurouma, the director of the Navy’s Investigative Division. Eiichiro Oda confirms that his appearance is inspired by that of actor Akira Kobayashi, while the name Tensei comes from an organization that Kobayashi belonged to in the film “Fight Without an Honor Code”, the Tensei Coalition;
  • In another SBS, Eiichiro Oda says he cannot see the details of the drawings because of terrible astigmatism. In return, he apologizes to readers for causing confusion with a drawing of Killer eating something;
  • Finally, he wonders how the newest members of the crew get to know the old adventures of Luffy and his companions. According to Oda, Luffy and Zoro never speak while Nami, Sanji, and Chopper tell everything when asked. Then there is Usopp, who tells things of his own free will, but is therefore not reliable Robin, Jinbe, Franky, and Brook especially appeal to Nami, Sanji, and Chopper.

So SBS was full of details about Wano and his characters. Who knows what’s new in the next issue.
