One of the major criticisms of Bleach concerned the lack of Tite Kubo’s backgrounds, which were often and willingly white and expressionless. Despite this, the Sensei style was always appreciated, especially in the covers of the volumes. But what happens when they are inspired by ONE PIECE?
The Whole Cake Island saga played a very important role for the Mugiwara, especially for Luffy who had to face the garrison of an emperor for the first time, big mom. Thanks to the win against katakuriright hand of Charlotte, the protagonist has seen his growth cuts up to 1.5 billion berries.
At least recently dendenmushi production has shared on reddit a series of really exceptional illustrations, the same ones you can browse at the bottom of the news, reinterpreting the covers of the volumes focused on the Whole Cake Island saga, but with a Style very close to that of Tite Kubo in Bleach. The covers in question have been well appreciated by the community thanks to the originality of the illustrations.
