It is now a fact that Eiichiro Oda is paving the way there ONE PIECE, that mythical treasure that will determine the next of the Pirate Kings. The final chapter showed us who at first seems to have all the makings of getting dangerously close to Laugh Tale.
We’re obviously talking about Blackbeard, one of the 4 Emperors and currently the greatest obstacle to Luffy. Teach now has an impressive arsenal on his side, backed by two of the franchise’s most powerful Devil Fruits and a fearsome and dangerous fleet. In the final of Chapter 1063 of ONE PIECE we see Law imprisoned on an island due to an attack by Blackbeard’s crew in anticipation of an imminent clash between the two two pirates with more than 3 billion berry bounties.
It’s a battle with many expectations, as its outcome could take one of the characters very close to the island where the ONE PIECE is located. However, given Blackbeard’s abilities, it’s probably almost reasonable to expect the Emperor to emerge victorious from the battle, even though Law left the Wanokuni with a hefty bounty on his head. Furthermore, Oda’s will seems to make Teach the true final villain of the Mugiwara, or at least a major obstacle to Laugh Tale. Also, who knows if The law can die at the hands of the emperor with an inevitable and umpteenth upheaval of the plot.
