For more than a year, Shueisha, the editor of Weekly Shonen Jump, has had a habit of showing readers some of the original designs drawn by Eiichiro Oda, the author behind them, each week ONE PIECE. So here are a couple of panels straight from chapter 1053.
The latest installment of ONE PIECE features the new 4 Emperors of the Sea: Luffy and buggy the clownin fact they have replaced Kaido and Big Mom after the latter were defeated by the new generation. The world government immediately took countermeasures by increasing the bounty of the Mugiwara captain Law and Kidd, not to mention that one of the 3 admirals has already arrived in Wano.
Anyway, in the last few hours, Shueisha has published those Original designs from Chapter 1053, the same that you can see at the end of the news, which allow us to admire some of the phases of Oda Sensei’s work. From the pictures you can actually see the pencil sketches, the preliminary texts and the notes on the sides of the pages for the wizards. Immediately after that, the spreadsheets go into the editor’s hands and then into the printing stages for publication in magazines and digital.
