The new generation is before us. A long time ago, the emperors ruled the seas in ONE PIECE, which faces not only the Navy, but all the young people brave enough to set foot in the New World and choose not to join their crews. This time changes with two supernovae facing Empress Big Mom.
Luffy clashes with Kaido at the top of Onigashima, but first Eiichiro Oda decides to end the Law & Kid VS Big Mom fight. ONE PIECE 1040 starts a new era with the two young captains continuing to use their attacks. The Damned Punk is still active, but Big Mom appears to still be able to fight, and uses the Soul Pocus to panic nearby pirates. But not with Law and Kid, with the two captains, who are not afraid of the old woman and so put up a fight.
Law destroys Hera and prevents Big Mom from making any noise while Kid uses his Damned Punk to the maximum, causing a hole in the ground for the Empress to sink into. The latter rushes to the armory, where he surprises Yamato. As he grabs one of the frozen bombs, Big Mom blows up part of Onigashima and carries with him a completely depleted kazenbo. As he continues to fall and land in the skies of Wano, Big Mom looks back at Roger’s last words and curses him.
The fall leads them into the hole created by Law a few chapters ago where Big Mom lands along with other bombs causing a huge explosion leading to the end of the story Fight with the winners of Law and Kid. Meanwhile, Momonosuke warns Yamato of the arrival of Zunisha, Joy Boy’s old companion. ONE PIECE will be on hiatus, but what secrets it will reveal in the future?
