The Battle of Onigashima will go down in history. Kaido and Big Mom had started their plans to conquer the world, but the samurai, accompanied by the crews of Luffy, Law and Kid, didn’t give them an opportunity to realize this ambitious project. And so ONE PIECE brought about an epochal war against the pirates of the hundred beasts.
The ultimate goal is to defeat Kaido and Big Mom. If Kaido is still open, Law and Kid will hold out against Big Mom. ONE PIECE 1040 with its spoilers and pictures shows how the expected confrontation ends.
the Chapter 1040 of ONE PIECE will be shorter than usual, only 15 pages, and begins with the title “Words That Have No Effect on the New Generation” and the cover story, in which Yonji and Niji reminisce about the moment Big Mom defeated them. We then move on to the actual chapter, with Big Mom coming under attack from Kid. The beam continues as she smiles and uses the “life or slave” technique to gain life from those around her, imposing a pact that they either give 50 years of life or become her slaves. Big Mom begins taking the lives of the Kid and Heart pirates, but Law manages to stop them. Kid and Law stand between Big Mom and her companions, with the Empress Technique having no effect on them as they are not afraid of an old woman who is about to die.
Law then activates a new technique, the R ROOM: Silent, inspired by a Corazon Technique that creates an empty space around Big Mom where the Empress cannot speak, preventing her from activating her techniques. Kid keeps firing at the Damned Punk as the floor collapses, knocking Big Mom to the floor. Misery tries to help her, but Law cuts her in half with her sword without using Ope Ope no Mi’s power. Big Mom falls and finds herself in the armory, according to the previously made hole law. He tries to hold on to a bomb that Yamato had frozen and also to Kazenbo. However, he detonates one of the bombs, causing the lower part of Onigashima to collapse and the Kazenbo losing energy. So Big Mom falls for Wano, taking some bombs and the Fire Demon with her.
Big Mom tries to call for help, but Law’s sphere won’t let her talk, so she starts thinking about Roger, why he made that statement after he died, and why he didn’t say what One Piece is and where it is . Meanwhile, some images of Onigashima scroll by with Zoro falling to the ground bloodied, Orochi listening to Komurasaki’s song, and Raizo resisting and hitting Fukurokuju. Big Mom eventually falls into the hole Law created in Wano along with the bombs, and ahead of a big explosion, Big Mom warns Law and Kid not to believe he will die so easily. The Empress disappears amid fire and smoke while a narrative box warns of this at the end of ONE PIECE 1040 The winners of the fight are Kid and Lawpartying with their crews.
But there is room for another cartoon where Momonosuke and Yamato reunite, with the dragon warning his partner that Zunisha has arrived on the island. Yamato realizes who he is and relates to Joy Boy’s partner who was convicted of a crime 800 years ago.
