As the battles across Onigashima reach their conclusions, most of the attention is drawn in the last few chapters of ONE PIECE is reflected Luffy and how he is doing Kaido at the top of the skull dome. But if a single emperor is an insurmountable problem in itself, two really is too many.

The two managed to use theirs awakened abilities of the devil fruit to do her serious harm in the previous chapters, and ONE PIECE 1038 saw that they still gave it their all until Law finally delivered the decisive blow to the Emperor if all goes according to plan.
ONE PIECE Chapter 1039 picks up the fight against Big Mom and the Law and Kid crews tell the two to back off because Big Mom was able to easily absorb all of their combined efforts. Realizing that their next attack will likely be their last, Law and Kid decide to do so implement a final plan against the Empress. She even starts using her strongest attack in the series against the two, and when Kid distracts her, Law ends up pinning her to the ground.
With his Kroom on his sword, it plunges straight into Big Mom’s chest, and then the blade sticks out so low it digs into the ground below. As she tries to shake it off, Law uses the “stitch will“to extend his blade even further and split the ground to the castle and the island below.
